  MultiPCR

A software tool for design of multiplex short tandem repeat (STR) systems for multiplex PCR and gel electrophoresis, combining thermodynamical primer compatibility and amplicon length compatibility. The development was supported by grant No. 201/06/0567 of the Czech Science Foundation.

  Vitis

A standardised database of grapevine DNA profiles (microsatellite genotypes) for grapevine identification or authentication. The software was awarded third prize at the Czech Student Scientific Contest (SVOČ), category S8, in 2008. The development was supported by grant No. 201/06/0567 of the Czech Science Foundation.

  Morphogenetic systems simulator

Morphogenetic (M) systems leverage the advantages of two powerful bio-inspired computing models, namely tile self-assembly models and P systems (also known as Membrane Systems). M systems combine these concepts and endow them with explicit geometric features and self-assembly capabilities. They may further our understanding of computation beyond the scope of traditional computer science, where shape and geometry are not native concepts, but rather that require enormous amounts of effort to build back in, while on the other hand, our understanding of the world is inherently dependent on it.
